I was reading about DOTATATE PET scans for meningiomas and was impressed by the sensitivity of the test. I was wondering how it has impacted your treatment recommendations for grade 1 or 2 meningiomas that are resected?

Great question- it is really driving changes in practice patterns. We essentially use it to verify GTR's. In gr 1's, if post-op MRI & dotatate are negative, we observe. in grade 2, we also use to verify GTR, and then try and recruit onto NRG-BN003 which randomizes obs vs adj RT. if the dotatate lights up in post-op Gr 1 or Gr 2, I typically offer adj RT. we then use the pet volume to guide boost dose.
